Indicators are tools that quantify and communicate the results of a process or operation in an objective and simplified manner. In the Manaus Free Trade Zone, they are essential for agencies such as SUFRAMA and SEDECTI, assisting in the monitoring of the technical-economic projects approved for companies.

How Does the Submission of Indicators to SUFRAMA Work?

The submission of socioeconomic indicators to the Superintendence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (SUFRAMA) is essential for the agency to generate and publish industrial indicators, conduct studies, and monitor the technical-economic projects approved in conjunction with the Project Monitoring Report (RDAP).

Companies located in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM) must submit their indicators to SUFRAMA through the Industrial Indicators System. To do so, it is necessary to fill out two forms: one with general company data and another with information on production and market.

Even if the company has not yet started production, it is mandatory to submit the general information for the agency’s control purposes.

The deadline for submitting indicators to SUFRAMA is the 15th day of each month, as established by Ordinance No. 1,585, dated August 20, 2024.

Failure to submit the indicators results in the blocking of the company’s registration with SUFRAMA.

How Does the Submission of Indicators to SEDECTI Work?

The submission of indicators to the Government of the State of Amazonas is carried out through the CEIPIM (Registry of Companies with Incentives in the Manaus Industrial Pole) and must occur monthly, by the 15th day of the month following the reference month. Failure to submit this information may result in a fine of R$ 5,000.

The CEIPIM system is responsible for collecting information on companies that receive incentives from the Government of the State of Amazonas, including data on investments, workforce, capital origin, revenue, production, and sales. This information is used to monitor and project the state’s economic scenario, as well as to support the preparation of studies and analyses.
